I made these the other night and they were so good I wanted to share how I made them. Next time I’ll take a picture and add it in!
12-14 large pasta shells cooked al dente
1 lb ground beef
1/4 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup good parmesan cheese (seriously, get good stuff)
1/2 – 1 tpn Italian seasoning
4 cloves of garlic, minced
1 egg lightly beaten
1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
In a large bowl mix the beef, bread crumbs, cheese, seasonings, garlic and egg until combined. Personally I don’t think it needs any salt or pepper but if you disagree this is the time to add it in.
In a large shallow baking dish pour about a third of the spaghetti sauce, and spread it around. Scoop the meat mixture into the cooked shells and place them in the baking dish. Continue until all the meat mixture is used. Pour the remaining sauce over the stuffed shells.
Bake 350 degrees for about 45 min. Serve it with garlic bread and a salad.
